Mismatch hold, recovery and handover
Inert model/approved training fixture only. Not an OEM operating SOP, service release or competence certificate.

Objective: Recognise a wrong profile, hold before fitting, and carry the reasoning into reviewed recovery.

1. Read the assigned configuration
State DF-GEN-01 / DEMO-01 and the training draft revision.
Component: HOUSING
Expected: The exercise is tied to a configuration and source.

2. Compare the proposed profile
Inspect B against the reference for the assigned training A.
Component: ELEMENT_B
Expected: A visible profile difference is identified.

3. Call HOLD
Do not force or animate B into the housing. Stop the represented task.
Component: ELEMENT_B
Expected: B stays outside; progression is held.

4. Capture the discrepancy
Describe the conflicting profile and the source needed to resolve it.
Component: ELEMENT_B
Expected: The record explains the reason, not only the stop.

5. Bring in the reviewer
A responsible instructor checks the correct source/configuration and the proposed recovery.

Expected: No automatic source or package approval is implied.

6. Select verified training A
Only after instructor review, identify the assigned A in the concept exercise.
Component: ELEMENT_A
Expected: A remains the same object; B is still separate.

7. Inspect recovery
Review the same-axis return in the model. An actual physical task needs its own approved operating procedure.
Component: ELEMENT_A
Expected: No lateral insertion or hidden-lock certification is inferred.

8. Hand over the reasoning
Record the configuration, mismatch, reviewer decision, evidence and unresolved items for the next exercise.

Expected: An accountable review precedes any lesson or procedure update.
